Dr. Ohihoin is a Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and a Chief Research Fellow in the Clinical Sciences department of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research.
He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and of the National Medical college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He holds a Fellowship and Diploma in the field of Minimal Access Surgery from Asia’s Premiere Institute of Laparoscopy, the Laparoscopy hospital in Delhi India.
Dr. Ohihoin is an alumnus of the Japan International co-operation agency, (JICA). He has authored six books in his specialty including the famed book “The Black woman’s Pregnancy”. He has over 40 publications in peer review journals and academic resource.
Apart from his medical training, Dr. Ohihoin is a trained Arbitrator and Mediator with a bias towards resolving disputes in the health sector. He became a member of the Chartered Institute of arbitrators of the United Kingdom, after becoming the first medical doctor to pass the accelerated membership exams.
In human reproduction, he is currently researching into Infertility management in individuals living with HIV and other chronic infections. He is married to his best friend, Esther and they are blessed with two children.
Dr. Esther Ohihoin had her basic medical education at the University of Ibadan where she obtained a fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College, Faculty Of Internal Medicine, with a specialty bias in cardiology. She has also bagged a Masters Degree in physiology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
She is Consultant Physician and Cardiologist at HICI HEALTHCARE LTD, an organization she co-founded and functions as the current Medical Director. She is also a visiting consultant at Avon medical services limited and Clinix Diagnostic services. Prior to her role in HICI healthcare she was head, department of Internal Medicine, General Hospital, Lagos.
She co-founded pregnancynigeria and currently the non executive director of the project.
With more than 7 years’ experience in clinical practice, He is a seasoned medical doctor who has interacted with thousands of patients and clients with the sole aim of providing high quality healthcare services.
His interest in research spans through molecular medicine, clinical medicine and public health. At his spare time, He regularly conduct workshops on family planning and birth control for intending young couples in strategic communities.
He is highly passionate about causing a positive change in the lives of people with a focus in establishing a career in the academia and translational sciences.
Oji Kalu is a graduate of Physiology from the University of Lagos where he bagged both his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees. He currently works as a Research Fellow and I.T. manager at HICI Healthcare limited. He is also currently researching into Infertility management in individuals living with HIV and other chronic infections with Dr Gregory Ohihoin. He is vast in Information Technology being proficient in Microsoft office, Website Design and Development, Graphics, Animation, Film making, Digital Marketing and Analytic tools.
Hephzibah Olohita Ohihoin is a graduate of Hamilton Highschool Sussex who recently got admitted into the University of Wisconsin La Crosse to pursue a degree program in journalism and creative writing. She is an aspiring author and has a certificate in the course, ‘The Foundations of Fiction (Writing Mastery)’. She is currently working on a project for the organization.
Ohihoin Ohirheme Vahe is the son of Aigbe Gregory Ohihoin and Esther Ngozi Ohihoin. He is the second of two children. He is currently a junior at Hamilton High School, Sussex. He has received training in Python and Java programming and is currently working on a project for the organization.
Rabi Adetoro is a human resource (HR) business leader with over 15 years in the industry. She has a broad-base background that straddles the Financial Industry. In her professional capacity, she has pioneered diverse HR models for various multi-national brands.
Her trainings and certifications have spanned over three continents of the world, with a masters degree in business administration (human resources management) from the University of Aberdeen.
She has an established track record in offering strategic and innovative HR solutions with a view to attaining qualitative institutional growth and development. She is a certified SWP expert and a certified job evaluator. She volunteers in the pregnancy Nigeria project as a content consultant.
